Bill Broadie, Chairman

Bill Broadie is a fourth generation cattleman. He graduated from Ashland High School in 1966. Served with the U.S. Marines from 1966 to 1968. He graduated from Fort Hays University in 1971, at that time he came back to Ashland and ran a stocker operation. For the last 18 years he has been a representative for Superior Livestock Auction.

Larry Bilberry, Sr. Vice Chairman

Larry S. Bilberry was born and raised in west Texas on a cattle/cotton farm, but now calls Garden City, Kansas home. He graduated from Post High School and attended South Plains Junior College before coming north to Kansas to pursue a career in the cattle feeding industry. Larry recently retired from Garden City Feed Yard after seventeen years as manager where he had the honor to see the feed yard grow from 25,000 head to 90,000 head capacity. Cattle operations in Texas, Missouri, and Kansas now keep Larry busy. Larry is married to Ann and they have three children. Rusty recently graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in Chemistry. Daughters Lindy and Sara are excellent students as well as outstanding cowgirls. Besides enjoying family, Larry enjoys church, music, and roping. Larry became involved with AABB because he loves God, Church, Country, and Family and although he may not agree with military action all of the time he does support our men and women in the military 100% of the time. If AABB can reach only one soldier and say thanks then we have succeeded.

Jim Odle, Jr. Vice Chairman

Jim has been involved in livestock marketing most of his adult life. He started as an auctioneer in 1962, owning his own sale barn. In the late seventy’s Jim was one of the pioneers in video marketing. In 1987 he was the co-founder of Superior Livestock Auction (SLA). He was the general manager of SLA until June of 2007. Since that time he has become active in televising Cowboy Church around the country.

Kendal Kay, Secretary / Treasurer

Kendal Kay was raised in Protection, Kansas and graduated high school from there in 1991. Upon graduating from college at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma, he moved to Ashland Kansas to begin his career at Stockgrowers State Bank. Kendal currently serves as the President of Stockgrowers State Bank. Kendal and his wife Karrie have four young children: Sloan, Reece, Braton, and Kinley Kay.

Craig Mock, Member

Craig Mock is the General Manager of United Telephone Associaition, Inc.; United Communications Association, Inc.; and United Wireless Communications Inc. The United group of companies provides telephone service, cable television, fixed and mobile internet access and PCS service to customers in southwestern Kansas. Mr. Mock joined United Telephone in 1984 and has served as Manager since 1994. He graduated from St. Mary of the Plains in Dodge City, KS with a BS degree in Business Administration. Mr. Mock resides in Dodge City with his wife and two children.
